“Vampires was the first song we worked on with Meg, and it really set the tone for our evolution as a band” says bassist Daniel. “Working on this track together has been an exhilarating experience, and we can’t wait for everyone to hear it.” Meg shares, “Vampires is an upbeat love song that imagines what life and love would be like if we were vampires. We’ve poured our hearts into this song, from the studio to the video shoot. The song has challenged us creatively with its ambitious music video concept and brought us closer as a band as we’ve discovered our new sound and identity. We couldn’t have chosen a better song to kick off this new era of Say It Anyway. We hope everyone enjoys it as much as we did making it.”
Meg, originally from California and now calling Cardiff home, joined Say It Anyway earlier this year. Her powerful vocals and fresh energy have brought a new dimension to the band’s sound. Vampires is the first glimpse of what this new line-up can achieve, blending the band’s signature high-energy style with Meg’s unique voice.
